Neb. Rev. St. § 54-617 to 54-624 if it's not confined or on a leash, you're out of luck. Might want to consider looking up the leash laws here.

We were dispatched to area yesterday to a possible injured dog. Animal Control knocked on the door of the yard he was laying in but were unable to make contact with home owners. They then brought the dog into CNHS. Animal Control has also called number on dog tag numerous times with no response.

To add: they tossed a note on my porch saying took your dog call to identify. Wow they got me on my way now, they best prey he's ok
