I will turn 65 in August and received notice of my medicare. I was given the option to opt out of Part B, which I did. But they refuse to take me off Part B. How can I get off of Part B before I start getting charged?

I did that. I filled out the card. Refused the part b, had a witness sign the card. All they did was send me a new card but still on part b. No explanation. No acknowledgment of the card I sent back. I am insured under by wife's employer and do not need part b at this time. I cannot afford the additional payment. I don't know what do to. I've contacted SS office and nothing happens., I'm about to seek legal advice.

en Medicare card arrives you will be given instructions to refuse Part B and sign and return the card that shows Part A And Part B card before August. You needed to sign the card refusing Part B not a witness. Go to local office to let them know you are declining part B.
