So, it's killed other dogs but you're just gonna grab it and take it to the pound? I'm sorry but I think I'd pay to see that. If it's a big dog (and it's gotta be) then I think even if the owner sees you they're just gonna watch. It's not like you'll have any grounds for any kind of legal action. If that dog chews your arms off it'll be YOUR fault!
Yes you can drop it off. Tell them about the dogs behavior, so they know about it.
