I have a 3 yr old and she can't swim so are there life jackets on board (for both adults AND small children)? Is the cruise truly appropriate for small children? How much ability to move around? Would the railings on sides of boat be safe enough?

No life jackets but I think it is savety on board. But for a 3 years old child I think it is a not a good idea to do this trip. It is too long and for you not really a pleasure if you have always to take care of her.

They push everyone into the water around the statue of liberty so go on a nice day

Nancy, we didn't have any life jackets, but you're free to move around however the boat might be bumpy based on tge water conditions. I would call around for questions to find one suitable for your needs.

I think that 2 hours can be a long time for a 3 year old.
