There's a window designated for the passes. You do not need to reserve a spot.

I have used the NYC card. If you have it there is no need of booking a reservation in advance because it is an "avoid the line" solution. I bought a paper copy but, as far as I know, you can also purchase it via web and download it on you mobile. I hope this helps
