Its a wonderful old building in NYC. At one time you could take a helicopter on the roof to the airport. It was the PAN AM building then. But due to an unforseen acceident that took the lufes of a few people on the ground, that stopped long ago. It is now the Met life building and they have really done a great jon of bringing it back to life.

No. The helicopter pad was closed after an accident years ago.

to get to north entrance for grand central upon entering met life do NOT go up escalators. head straight back then go around the central island. escalators down to gc are thru revolvings doors on other side
