Wow , what a great question . There were eight of us , when we went to the city . We knew a friend , who worked in the city . Tour guide , he was and a good one . We took all modes of transportation , we split two taxis, train , subway -don't get lost , best of all was the cruise ship on the harbor . Think it out and you will do fine . We did walk 7 miles that day , 5 July .

According to the entrance letters, children up to 3 years old have free admission.

You cannot preselect a particular seat. If you get there an hour before boarding, you should be one of the first to board and you'll have your choice of seats.

I have not seen any pet in the cruise but there no board also for no pets...you can call and check.

If you are doing the sightseeing in Washington you pick which attractions to go to . We chose 4 attractions and enjoyed them all. You ride Big Bus in washington with the pass and they are located at Union Station. The Smithsonian's are free and just wonderful. I also recommend getting a train pass to get around Washington. We did and it worked well. For Trains and Buses. Goodluckhope this helps . P.s. I highly recommend the night tour excellent.

Best of NYC goes around Manhattan island and is a day time tour. Landmarks cruise which only covers southern half of Manhattan from Pier 86 to the Brooklyn bridge and back, also a daytime tour. Liberty tour I believe covers only the Liberty Island and Statue of Liberty, also during the day. Harbour Lights is a romantic cruise covering the same route as Landmarks cruise but at night time when the city is lit up.
