Was just there with my family, I'd say it's fairly safe, but it can be steep and muddy. We saw multiple dogs more on the medium size. I would not bring older dogs that aren't agile etc.
Yes. Keep on a leash though because steep drops. Of course,, I am a cat person so take it with a great of salt! Fantastic trail
