Please reach early as the parking is very limited else we have to park at little far off public parking. Nice trail, efforts are worth the view. There are 2 views - upper and lower falls. Lower falls is little difficult but has got amazing views. No restrooms and it will be around 2-3 hours to complete the hike. So, plan accordingly.

Wonderful trail for all levels of hikers. It's on mostly dirt, but large rocks and logs to help with rapid terrain changes. The falls are about 1.5 miles from the staging area, but trails extend over 8 miles. Many views of cascades and a beautiful stream that moves along the trail. Parking in town or right at the trail. A great brewery in town for post hiking activities.

Was just there with my family, I'd say it's fairly safe, but it can be steep and muddy. We saw multiple dogs more on the medium size. I would not bring older dogs that aren't agile etc.

There actually are public restrooms, up the hill at the Blowing Rock City Park. Less than 3 minutes from the bathroom to the trailhead, past the upper side of the parking garage.
I hiked it at the beginning of November and it was then!
