Actually the part was covered by the factory warranty but not the freight. It was a heavy blower motor and your parents understood and approved the price to overnight the part. We charged exactly what the shipping company charged us.
They will be happy to charge you $200 to ship a part overnight - like they did my elderly parents after making them wait all weekend for service on a system that was covered under warranty.
