I was tent camping so didn't really look for rv hookups, but I am pretty sure it is a primative site.
Hi yes it's a primitive site. Outhouse with fire pit and horseshoes. Like they said entrance is narrow and be tough with a trailer of any size or a RV. There are a few sites at the new river junction that have hookups but not sure how long they are open in the fall. The other forest service campgrounds like Addison may be easier to get an RV in but no hookups either. It's about 20 minutes since the Forest road is slow going.
It is a gated, primitive group campground for which you need to make reservations with the US Forest Service. No hookups, no water, but there is an outhouse. To enter, you have to drive across a small stream with a bit of a dip, so it wouldn't be suitable for a large RV. It's about 10 miles from Virginia Tech and GPS will find it.
