if an agent is going inactive in January, do they still need an ethics class before the end of the year?

Hi Laurie - Once your license is inactive, you can no longer hold Realtor membership. The Code of Ethics training is a membership requirement of the National Association of Realtors, so you do not need to complete the Ethics training by the end of the year. Please let us know if you have any further questions. (On behalf of the owner)

The ethics class is not a GREC requirement. It is a requirement to maintain your membership in the Realtor Association. It is not necessary for your license.
