This is the area of downtown Raleigh between the corner of Blount and Davie and the corner of Martin and Person with classic brick paving, restaurants, shops, a small farmer's market, an event space, and several landmarks. It's across Martin street from Moore Square

Below is a wiki link to give you a better idea. My personal favorite is Treat ice cream parlor which is facing Blount street. A small place but all organic. In the back market has couple of cafe/restaurant and shops. A big hall for rent for parties/weddings events. Streets are coble stone. Parking is limited but free as far as you parked on those coble stone streets. In late summer (2019), Moore Square park across the street will be open again. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_Market_(Raleigh,_North_Carolina)
