Hi Yolanda, we have many that we serve with mental health issues. When an individual comes to Atlanta Mission seeking services, our staff spend time with them, evaluating what their needs are. If we have bed capacity and would be the best place for them, we offer long-term services including counseling. --- Hi Yolanda, this is not letting us post a new response. The police are actually out patrolling in City of Atlanta on nights when it's this cold, helping people get to warming shelters. I'm not sure how they function in Alpharetta. We do send our vans out to downtown Atlanta bridges and parks when there are frigid temperatures out, but we are not able to head out to Alpharetta.

Hi, Atlanta Mission. I have attempted to approach this Man from afar and he seemed to be in "another place". Are you all able to visit the area or is there another facility in Atlanta that handles cases such as these? I wouldn't want to contact the police bc I dont feel they would approach him with sensitivity. Please let me know. I'll continue to research. But im worried for this Man and with such frigid temperatures, I'm also worried he will not make it. I didn't see him otw to work today. But I did see him Monday night it's home and he traveled almost to the beginning of Duluth.
