No I walk the trails all the time, have seen rabbits, and snakes on rocks at the edge of the water. Hear the gunshots, but it's far away from park.
No they don't. Although, they have signs warning you to not go into the marsh as a precaution, which is closer to the gun range. You can see said sign right off of the designated trail.
Not 100% sure but this is extremely unlikely. This range is for the trading and practice requirements of the Gaston County police forces. I can't imagine any professional range set up in a direction that would allow that type of accident. It is also highly monitored, likely with video and audio recordings
Hear them all the time but I've never heard of this happening
