I love how huge and clean Warlick Family YMCA is. The instructors of Body Pump and Zumba are great. I also like how the sauna is just located by the lap pool so I can relax right away after doing some laps on their cool pool.

Beautiful facility with nice staff members. The women's locker room needs to have more changing stalls, but they are working on creating new locker rooms. The only other complaint I have is that the windows by the pool (that look out towards the lake) really need to be cleaned. It's hard to enjoy the beautiful view when the windows are so dirty. Other than those two things I love this facility!

Just moved back to the area. I signed up for a YMCA membership and am very disappointed after going to this Warlick branch. The layout of the building could be better. The time the ymca and the pool area is open is terrible. Most of the area is setup for events and hanging out instead of fitness/exercise/well-being. There is a shared sauna and steam room in the pool area that cant be accessed when the pool area is closed (It is only open for a few hours each day during the week and closed all of Sunday). This YMCA is only open until 8pm on weekdays and closes at 4 on weekends (including only being open for 3 total hours on Sunday). I'm planning on cancelling my new membership and look for a new fitness center over the next month. I added a star because it looks nice from the outside.

I contacted this Y months ago and asked if I was eligible for a discount as a 100% disabled OIF US Army Veteran.....their response. "NO". Not unless I went to the facility and filled out financial paperwork (which is embarrassing in the very least).Interestingly enough when I was a Police Officer I only paid $1 a month at the Albemarle NC YMCA. This Y wont get a red cent of my money and there is NOTHING "Christian" about their establishment.
