We are a shelter program for families with kids in care that are experiencing homelessness in the Athens, GA area. It is not just limited to mothers and can be any parent or parents with children under 18 in their care, but you must have children in your care. While we are not structured to shelter to single adults, the Salvation Army of Athens is a safe shelter that has both men and women's dorms for individuals to stay while they get back on their feet. There is no help for single women in GA.

No everyone said no openings or they do not take single women with no small children. I need a place to leave to get a job and back on my feet after a abusive marriage i am a mother and grandmother in need of help! And i can not stay here it was temporary till i could find a shelter or anyone that can help. So i would be on the street.
