No, if you give birth at your local hospital and something goes wrong after your baby is born and the doctor in the NICU cannot provide the right care for your newborn the doctor will have the infant transferred by ambulance or in the case of my 5 month old son he has to be life flight by helicopter to Egelston after he went into cardiac arrest and needed to get to the children's healthcare immediately, but sadly my son was on life support and a machine called ECMO for cardiac support and after 14 days I had to make the worst decision of my life and have him take off of the machine after the pediatric genetics doctor found out that he had a deadly genetic disorder that had no cure and my son passed away 14 days after he was sent to this hospital and it crushed me to have to let him go, but I can honestly say that the doctors and nurses at Egeslton are truly amazing and they really cared for my son and my husband and me, they even cried with us that horrible day when he passed away💔
