My 2 year old broke her arm at around 9pm so I left work and get her here (arrived at 11pm). It is currently 4:04am and still nothing. More people have left on their own than people who have been helped.

Horrible experience on Sunday 10/2/2022. My grandson was experiencing pain in the general area of his appendix. Symptoms had been going on since the previous Wednesday. My daughter arrived at the ER AT 9:30pm. They were not put in a room until 6am and then didn’t see a doctor until 1 1/2 hrs later. The doctor ordered an ultrasound of his belly to check his appendix. My daughter received the results it stated that the sonographer did not check or ultrasound his appendix. What has happened to this children hospital???? A sick autistic child and his mother had to wait for 13 hours to receive bad care. Do better Egleston.

ER has always been great! It is often a wait but worth the wait. Every member of staff greets you with a smile and how can I help you?? Never had a bad experience there. Love the doctors and nurses. It's the greatest for my granddaughter. 4 & 6 floors are the best! The nurses are wonderful, and kind!! Nurses actually care and allow you to bond with them! The ancillary staff are the Best!!! We love it here!

Thank you Ma.. So which good hospital can you recommend for safe child birth in Atalanta..? Am in need of one
Download My Chart it should help you with those records
Sorry can not answer that Rhanks
Yes
Request it from the nurse if your children were seen at the hospital
Yes they do.
Visiting hours are daily until 8pm. Obviously some situations may be different for each child.
Dial 404-785-KIDS and let them know you would like to request a transfer. Depending on your child's needs they will send him or her with a Neonatal Transport Team by ambulance or fly them out. Best of luck to you!
Follow the link below. There is an option to email on the webpage. Best of luck to you and your son. https://www.choa.org/contact
No, they will always treat the child. An later help you apply for insurance or if you are ineligible for insurance they will work with the family as in part of a payment plan that works for the family. #prayersforkaspian
Can you get his primary doctor to give you a copy of his Id card, because that would help you out better or you might be lucky and they might have all of your info on file.
Im not sure but its a very big childrens hospital with a bunch of different medical departments that treats almost anything. But i personally highly recommend thus hospital.
I truly wish she could, but CHOA isn't designed to provide care for adults. However, there are fantastic NICUs at many of the birthing hospitals in Atlanta. If the baby must go to CHOA(ie for a VP shunt and care), I understood that sometimes the parent can spend the night, especially when they have had surgery. Best of luck to you all.
They are open 24 7
Some viruses just have to run their course. You can treat the symptoms depending on what type of virus it is but they just have to pass through
No! I was advised it dries the ear canal. That some wax is to be left in the ear to protect the ear drum etc
You should get a PCP (Primary Care Physician) if you are trying to schedule a time to go to the ER. ER is meant for emergencies only!
I think 1 not sure
Children Hospital of Atlanta
Closest is the Emory hotel and conference center. Ones in downtown decatur are nice, in a good spot and about a 10 minute drive away
There is a gift shop
Hospital is open 24/7 the labs I don't know
take her to registration. they will check you in then route you to the department you need.
Only if they show up in an emergency situation. They would be stabilized and then they would promptly be transferred to an adult hospital. As the name implies, all specialists are trained in pediatrics.
They should
8:30pm
Not sure, emergency room services ...north side vest for new born babies
