I have been having the same issue for almost two months now...on and off. Opt wants to charge me $80 if they come out and don't find an problem. So I keep making and cancelling service appointments.
In either case it would go to voice mail.
Or someone else may be taking... In either case, the answering service, if you have it configured, should answer.
No idea maybe is no power maybe it's internet
