You have to be patient and hit the right prompt. As for talking to a human, it might be worthless. Why? The customer service at optimum plus what they're told to tell us Meg's this company sub par.
There is absolutely no way to speak to a "human" ! I've been calling for days, hit all the prompts - nothing!
Even the humans are robots.
Call, when prompted, choose options to cancel your service, then you'll get a human, proceed to ask your question. No guarantee your question will be answered or your problem solve. Good luck you will need it when dealing with Optimum customer service.
Using the correct option and depending on queue size you may get chance talk to humane. Or take option for call back even it says 45 mins but callback may come later not exactly after 45 mins
The one thing to remember at the end of the day. It's a company someone else works 4 n must follow their rules n lies... As n any job or place n the world today. Some ppl r great n some r booger bears. Go face to face... If u can't always ask 4 supervisor n remember some r just their for pay check n hate this job n company. Others take pride no matter what or where there position n life. N other times customers r so rude
