It is smoke free. Patients are not allowed to smoke by policy. The admissions people verify patients agree not to smoke before they are accepted.

When I was looking for a place for my mother, I think they said they preferred non smokers. We were in the process of getting my mother to quit smoking and she hadn't for a few weeks, so she was able to move there. She has been there a couple years and hasn't had the urge. They have a patio area and I don't believe I have seen any patients smoking. I'm guessing their policies might change and it also might depend on how full of patients they are at the time.
