Had my wedding there. Showed up 30 minutes before they opened that Saturday morning already a half dozen cars in front of me. By the time they opened 5 times that many. Got the shelter I wanted then a guy showed up who wanted it also. Threw me to the ground. Tried to call the Ranger but no answer.
It's a public park, if you just show up the day of and start using it, there wouldn't be a cost. If you want to reserve a specific spot you'll likely need pay a fee.
