Depends on the group. Each group has the right to make decisions about how their group is run. Sometimes there is a statement about confining shares as they relate to alcohol. It’s best to respect the wishes of the group. You can always find another group that may have different guidelines or NA is always an option if you identify primarily as an addict. Hope that helps.
