Has AA officially changed the AA Preamble wording from "men and women" to "people"?

I believe it was in this month June 2021 grapevine magazine stated it has officially been changed

With all due respect, in the preamble or sentence, It clearly states that AA does not wish to intervene in controversies and does not endorse or oppose any cause. Our primary goal is to stay sober and help others recover from alcoholism. Why change it? If they get involved in supporting what they want, they will end up supporting pedophiles.
