is there a picnic area wit tables for a large gathering and if so does it cost anything, how far in advance does it need to be reserved?

All that is true but I know you have to make reservations for them especially on a holiday there's even a pool there for swimming

Free. No reservations.....I'm pretty sure you just get thier early and try to get the spot you like. Some are close to stand up grills.

I know they have plenty of space for a lot of people and pavilions but I am not sure on timing or pricing
