This is a nice break from the nearby city, but you can hear the rush of cars in the section nearest the highway, so move farther in for some peace and quiet. There's a decent amount of picnic tables and charcoal grills and there's also a pool (admission charged). The Eagles football team in 2007 started a "Forest at Neshaminy" program in the park. The park has several short trails, the longest of which goes through the tidal marsh area. Look for unique plants and animals in this wetland area. Check to see if there's a show at the Playmasters Theater also in the park. Note: Look for my review and pictures of the marina under - Neshaminy State Park Marina. For events at this park visit: events dcnr pa For more information: pa parks and forests (diamond)

Most of the lands of Neshaminy State Park were donated to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by the estate of Robert R. Logan in 1956. Logan was a descendant of James Logan who was the colonial secretary to William Penn the founder of Pennsylvania. Dunks Ferry Road, which forms the western boundary of the park, is one of the oldest roads in Pennsylvania. It was built in 1679 by Dunken Williams to provide access to his ferry which crossed the Delaware River. For forty years, the oral historian Alice of Dunk's Ferry collected tolls from those crossing the river. Dunks Ferry Inn was a major rest stop that served travelers from the mid-18th until the late 19th century.

Great park for walking. Stroller friendly. Clean and peaceful. Ample trail options; take a different path each visit

There are several restrooms and also a playground near the pool.
$9 per person per day or $80 per person for the season!
They have grills there but I would bring aluminum foil to cover them
Monday - Friday: 11am - 6PM Weekends: 10am - 6PM Holidays: 10am - 6PM
The pool will be closed the week of Monday August 28th- Friday,September 1st. We open for Labor Day Weekend Saturday September 2nd. We will be open the 2nd, 3rd and 4th for the holiday! September 4th is the last day of the season.
You can as the rangers rush you out the park, lol!
Yes there are spots to picnic. Shady areas about near river
Of course not But you can try to do it in China, they don't care about nothing
For camping no you got to go to a camping location but i don't know about using a tent just do the day. Maybe not cause park rangers are strict about drinking and having sex in the park since children are around. I would say look for camp grounds areas
I think you can bring in the foldable ones. I've seen people have them, but not 100% sure.
As others have said, its very poular for picnicking. Grills are plentiful also.
No its just first come first serve... But you can reserve the. Patio one's by calling the main office and if you want to do a party inside the pool area they have tables you can reserve and rent for 3/4 hours.. But again vall main office for help with that... Your gonna love it... Its a great party spot for kids birthday.
No. i would bring everything with you. Just a couple vending machines. That barely work.
Yea you can still walk in there but the gate closes at dusk. You would have to find parking on state rd. Lots of industrial business.
Yes
Neshaminy doesn't have a campground. And longest stay in Pa State Park that does is 3 weeks, outside of summer, 2 weeks during summer.
Anyone
$50 to go to neshaminy state park?? Omg they must be over charging for gas because only thing to do at neshaminy is fish, swim 🏊♀️ and that's less then $15 per person I think it's $12 to be exact but prices change. Maybe the school charged u for food and drinks and wanted to make a profit?.
Restate.your question please. I can't even find the word "previan" in the dictionary
Are you trying to say Pavillion??
Turn left at Albuquerque
I go to the park multiple days a week, pool is open $10 per person 11am to 6 pm park closes at sun down usually 8:30 pm Great trails, play ground and more
When we went last week they were filling the pool.
Memorial day weekend
Yes you need a state licence
The pool is open & the kiddy sprinklers are working. Had a great time there yesterday.
Locked certain times open
I wouldnt. Most people fish for sport or practice cause the fish arent fresh. I know in Philadelphia we can't eat the fish for safety reasons and this park is way to close. I would Google it but I am sure you cant eat it
Yes.. 10.00 that's correct for the pool area. Infants are free..
Get in how, by boat or swim? It is a river not a lake.
No. Maybe in the big picnic pavilion area. But for the most part not really
No camping

I don't think there are any archery spots at this park. Might want to check with local rangers if any parks allow it.
You shouldn't go to the office and apply
Must call them,
Yes, there is a bike trail there.
No
It is a public place
Yes but it isn't the cleanest water so u should take a lengthy shower afterwards and I wouldn't advise kids to go in they might drink some by accident. Also, be very careful swimming in the river because it can be dangerous if you swim out to far. The current can catch you by surprise. And wear some sort of shoes too because unfortunately people throw glass bottles in the water and they tend to be close to shore. You can get cut on them and ...as dirty as the water is, you would definitely get an infection. But, I have gone swimming in the river too and have had a great time so, just be sensible about where you are and the dangers involved. Just use a little common sense and you should have a great day.
I have NO IDEA about that. Never have been kayaking.
Not quite sure, 9 or 10 AM I believe. You can go on the website and the hours are posted. 😊
No. It's an outdoor park with plenty of trees, a swimming pool and a playground, but no lockers. There are also plenty of picnic tables and restrooms in the park.
The park has pavilions for family or group parties. Never heard of them renting carts.
No $9 per person
10am
Yes its 9 dallors per person to get into the pool
Nothing with gunpowder in it...black powder which they use in the making of fireworks is what they used in guns and cannons before "smokeless" gunpowder was invented and now used.
$9 per person and it opens at 10am
It is open Monday through Friday 11am to 6pm and 10am to 6pm on weekends
You have to call the rangers office and rent it but it is like 200 for a day
All the park rangers there are very professional
Plenty of space around. Need to get in early.
