If you dont mind walking a few blocks, parking is not a problem. If you go in the morning (before 10), crowd is not bad at all. You can get a nice spot to spread your blanket and enjoy a picnic. Not sure what time the restaurants are open nearby, but there are open cafes and carts for you to choose from. There's a fishing area if you want to do that, or play ball games in the field.
Nice place for an outing, parking available but you might have to hunt for it or walk a little, there is a playground for kids and lots of food carts offering different varieties for you to choose from. Have a nice day
there is no parking near the park
Parking, you gotta get lucky unless you don't mind walking. As for the crowd it depends on the time you go. When I went the playground was open, field and basketball courts as well.
