The M35 located on the 125th and Lexington this location is sketchy and being alert to your surroundings is very important this bus will take you on the island and near all their fields.. since it has about 8 stops know what field you are going.. for special events they have a special bus that takes you to that event . You can also walk onto the Island by walk ways from Manhattan Queens and Bronx.
I don't think you need to reserve a spot, as long as it's not an organized event.
