You can pass freely. No need of especial permition. They just check your bagpack when you go in and out.
Beware of the rude, unhelpful staff. The library’s main rooms don’t open until 10am and don’t expect anyone on staff to tell you that!
You do not need a pass to work or study in the library, only to borrow books and access other resources.
