While the renovations mainly catered to the youth and their study area, the layout of the branch was improved upon and there appears to be plenty of places to read, with the books on hood neatly arranged to the left when you walk in. This is my neighborhood branch and I’m grateful it exists and stays open after 5 so I can go after work to pick up holds and return books.

I love this library, even as a preteen. The renovation is great. This trip to Bloomindale Library was actually to make copies of documents, having ran out of ink on my personal printer. I was able to complete the job with the help of a staff member. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Events, activities for both young and old as well as community support events. I would recommend Bloomindale Library on the upper westside at 100 St. Across from 24th precinct. Opened Mon-Tues 10am-7pm Wed-Thur 11am-7pm Fri-Sat 10am-5pm Sundays closed.

From library website: Request a circulating copy of a book Search for an item. Click the Place Hold button to request the item Indicate where you would like to pick up the item using the drop down menu. Place the hold. You may also all at the library for assistance in placing a hold - reserving a book.
You can click the following link to learn more about how to place a hold. In addition you can always call the branch and speak to a Library staff who will order the book for you. https://www.nypl.org/blog/2020/03/10/how-put-book-hold-new-york-public-library
No idea, but in the NYPL website could find that info.
Hi. In this branch there is not an IDNYC office. Go to IDNYC website and check it out there about which branch is offeeing that service.
Unfortunately there's no DVD browsing at this branch. You can place them on hold and have them delivered for pickup. The nearest browsing DVD collection is at the Morningside Heights Library.
Hello, unfortunately, Bloomingdale Library doesn't have that on schedule. You can check out our library calendar for upcoming programs. The link here is narrow down to "English Conversation Hour" -- https://tinyurl.com/3hz3st4t
Hello, we do not offer that service here. We suggest to contact Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 or to visit their site at https://www.ssa.gov/benefits/forms/
Yes. This Library Branch is closed temporarily for construction.
Hello! Open regular hours on the 23rd.
Closed all major federal holidays, including tomorrow (Columbus Day 2018).
You can definitely do practice tests here (I think all branches have them) but if you are looking for a citizenship class, you may need to call them for a schedule and locations. I don't think Bloomingdale offers the class, but a quick call or visit will give you full information.

The st Agnes branch on 82nd and Amsterdam is a better branch for donations if your on the upper West side
