Are there any good places to eat

We walked over to South Street Seaport and ate at Il Brigante. Very delicious but it was a bit of a walk to the Seaport. There isn't anywhere to eat near Pier 36. Hard location to get to by public transportation. I would recommend driving to Pier 36 if you can and valet parking. We took public transportation and again what a hike to the Pier.

Uber is your friend.

Chinatown is close by. A French restaurant "Les Enfants de Bohème" is within 10 mins walk from the venue.

Tons of places just depends on what u want

You can go down to the seaport, up to Chinatown or driver to Harlem. Or over the bridge to Fort Greene.

There are places to eat on Grand Street.... Alphonso & A-1 Pizza,,, Castillos Spanish Restaurant,,, & Zafis Diner..
