My family rented a condo there last summer. I don't know if it was pre or post upgrades. However, it is a nice place that is centrally located to pretty much anything you may want to do in this part of Florida. It was reasonably priced and had some nice amenities.
Actually I think this would be a great place for someone too go for a honeymoon!!! They have very nice rooms, which depending on which room you get they have a lot of space. It's also a resort that you can enjoy. AND if you go to the right pool you will be the only on there, with a spa.
Yes it is a great resort. It is very comfortable and spacious. We stayed there the last two Christmas.' After a long day at the parks, it was always nice to get back to the resort. It felt like home. My only complaint was the elevators were too slow and not enough luggage carts to take in or out your bags at check in/out. Minor compared to everything else awesome. The price and location is great. On our last stay we enjoyed it at Calypso. Pool is nice. Rooms are good. Staff is helpful. Good location. Shuttle leaves for uiversal and disney that is included. Some nice restaurants close by
