Hi Ron, a Green Cheek Conure, I am not sure could be 300.00 + birds are expensive, a small cocatiel could go for about 200.00 a opaline, or pied may vary for a bit more
Both are really cute birds. Cockatiels are extremely popular and easy to bond with. Green cheek conure has louder squawk than cockatiel so be prepared for noise. Birds need a lot of interaction so stay happy and well balanced. Be prepared to train bird.
Green Cheeks are $349 and up for mutations. Our baby Cockatiels are mostly $229.
I'm not sure but neither of those birds are too expensive. The conure probably is a little more than the cockatiel
