You have to be there early Mon thru Friday to be seen before they close the gates...I say between 4 am to 6 am just to line up..on saturdays they only see people who need an Id all other departments are closed
Get there before 6am and thats just to get a ticket to be texted to come back later. See what you can do online FIRST.
I'm uncertain how to answer your question correctly because the (609) phone number line stays busy constantly you could be waiting long to speak with someone and it depends what you're there for, the best I can tell you is to dress warm and arrive very early until the gates open. It's about license suspension or restoration of your license tell the officer, bring your paperwork with your i.d. and the officer should direct you to room 3. If it's not the issue and if you're early early you will get a number and stand in line. I was in line about an hour went in and was taken care of right away and fast. If you're behind time they probably will send you home and tell you come back tomorrow morning. If you want to get out extra early and not have to come back the next following day then be very early on arrival so everything can get taken care of.
