Yes. You would have to go to family housing. They Will find a shelter that has space. If she is fleeing a domestic violence situation she will have a 90% chance of getting in asap instead of being placed on a waiting list. If you have any further questions feel free to email me
I am a single woman who's not in domestic violence or anything like that. I have found myself homeless because of an old Court issue from years ago holding me back. I do not have great credit because of my ex. I need to find a place to stay stay until my name comes up on the list. Since 2015 I have overcome a stroke, brain and lung cancer and AFib. This is really a bad situation. I need a place to lay my head and not worry until HUD calls my number. Thank you very much and God bless
