It is a private course within a private, gated community. Golf membership is the top level of memberships within the private country club, although not all of community residents are members of the Club. Club memberships are non-equity and the buy-in is expensive, commensurate with country clubs of the highest standards, but are not out of line with other club memberships in the geographic area. Basic dues, fees, and dining minima at the golf member level are generally in excess of $1,000 monthly; dues are somewhat lower for non-golf members. Other ways to enjoy the beautiful Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course (27 holes) are: invitation of a golf member, professional status in the PGA, and participation in one of the rare outings purchased by external organizations (e.g., chambers of commerce, law enforcement agencies, major corporations).
