I've been to this location multiple times in the past and I have always had a good experience, but after today's experience, I will never be back. I asked for a simple haircut-- a few inches off, straight across, with face framing layers. Debbie was my hairstylist and she had issues cutting my face framing layers; they were very choppy and unblended. I asked her if she could even it out, which she attempted to do, but she had trouble with it. The other hairdresser working at the time had just finished her working on her client and she overheard and came over, and she showed Debbie how to overdirect the hair in order to blend the layers, which made it look better. Then Debbie, without giving me a mirror to check the back of my hair, asked me if I was good with my haircut. I checked my hair and noticed that when all of my hair on one side was moved to the front, you could clearly see two distinct layers. I asked her if she could blend it together. The other hairdresser overheard again, came over and started yelling at me that this is just what happens when you move your hair from the back to the front, that there will be two distinct layers, and would I ever even wear it like that? I was completely taken aback by her yelling and initially I even wondered if maybe she was yelling at someone else instead, but no, it was definitely directed at me. I told her that I do wear it like that (which I do--every day) and asked again if it was possible to blend it, which she attempted, and again it looked better. Overall, the skill and customer service at this Great Clips leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot understand why she felt it was appropriate to yell at me for simply asking for my hair to be blended. The only thing that crosses my mind is that because I'm very soft-spoken, perhaps I seemed easy to steamroll, or maybe she assumed I didn't understand English and screaming was the best way for me to understand her. Whatever the case, I would not recommend this Great Clips.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
