The Shelter accepts couples but they're kept in separate wings of the facility.
Yes they do but you do not sleep together you're separated when it's time to go to sleep
Yes
That's fine we just need a safe place to lay our and some help finding work thanks what do we need to do to get in
The policy at "The Bridge", which is run by the State of Texas, is to get you a mat to sleep on. The men sleep separate from the women. If you are seriously trying to help yourself, The Bridge will give you a serious helping hand up. Once you get a mat, you have to line up everyday about 3pm to keep your mat. The next steo is to be tansitoned upstairs to a room or in to your own apartment. The Bridge isn't in the business of putting friends or people that hook up The Bridge in an apartment together. The Bridge is also not a place to forge new friendships or date. If you are smart, you will keep to yourself and focus on one thing only. Yourself. It's a time to be very selfish and get outselves out of the homeless situation that we are in. I, for one, will NEVER be homeless again.
