Salvation Army accepts families. You may be housed with the men and your wife and kids together on the other side. The one on Harry Hines Blvd across from Parkland Hospital.
The Family Place takes women with children. For the most updated list, call 2-1-1. They have access to all the resources that may be needed. I hope this helps.
The Bridge is way too dangerous for a family setting, which is why they don't allow anyone under 18 to go there.
Dallas Life foundation is the best one. But. They give you five free days.
Dallas Life Foundation is the only homeless shelter that I know that accepts families. Their address is 1100 Cadiz Street Dallas, TX 75215
One that hasn't been mentioned that DOES take families is The Samaritan Inn in McKinney, Texas. I know this for a fact because I stayed there for 6 months with my 5yr old son. You get your own room with your family there. One hallway is for families and the other two hallways are for singles(men on one hallway and women on the other). They help with employment, child care if needed and transportation to and from the Parker Road train station. They offer classes for just about anything and the food is decent. There is a curfew (unless you have to work) and random UA's as well. Its pet friendly too. I hope this helps......
Dallas Life Foundation & Salvation Army accepts families
Go to Salvation army on harry hines....best option on the fly to keep the family together but aviod the bridge or austin street...they are dangerous and as someone else commented...the life foundation is a choice
I would go to the Dallas Life foundation.
The Bridge is available but dangerous. I've personally dropped off two people who have both ended up in Prison. Up to you... Dallas, Tx.
U could try as many have said the life foundation or the salvation army but put ur name on the list for family gateway there is a wait so one of the 2 places til u get n
Family gateway call 211 the good at giving resource numbers for shelters or call any shelters and they give you a list there are a few that will ever only take families
