I'm meeting a relative at the airport after flying in for short layover before last leg of my trip, are there coffee shops or cafes outside of security-but still in the airport?

Yes, there are a few. Don't think all had seating in the shop though.

To be honest , most shops are inside security... There is one starbucks outside security at gate D34 on the departure level right beside American airline ticket counter... That's the only place u can seat down with someone if they dont have a ticket
