Camp grounds are open. Rt 1 from San Simeon is not open still.

As far as I know yes camgrounds are open not sure how far hwy 1 is open tho

I don't think HWY 1 is open all the way. You're better off driving up north towards Monterrey and then driving down to Big Sur area. The campgrounds should be open, but you can call to double check. Best of luck!
