Depends on the person. I was there 4 hrs and I could have honestly spent more time there..
I took 2 hours. Depending on your area of interest it might take another hour or 2. Also, if it is crowded and kids, it might be a little slow. Nice place I recommend.

If you take the time to read all the info about exhibits, it can easily take 3-4 houra, however without a movie amd for general admission, it will at least take 2 hours.
It depends on how deeply you want to learn. If you just want to walk past all the exhibits and peruse 10% of the interesting ones, I'd say budget 2 hours. My kids like use the museum as a catalyst to incite their curiosity for further study. We can go every weekend for about 6 months per year. Offsite, they follow up by reading books from the local library.
You could easily spend 1-2 hours going through this museum depending in how many interactive things you try
