I will be turning 65 next month. How can I get a reduced fare CTA card? What other helpful info can I get here? Do I need an appointment.

Hello Laurens Chesser a couple of days after your birthday you can apply for the Benefit Access Program and you also have to meet the income requirements which is $27,610 for one person $36,635 for two people and $45,657 for 3 people. If you have any income it has to be under these amounts and it has to be from the year 2017.. If you are married, you have to bring your spouse's info as well. Bring ID social security card and income for 2017. If you own a single family home, bring your current property tax bill, water bill and gas or light bill in your name to file for the sewer exemption. When you turn 66 if you own a home you can apply for the Senior property tax freeze. It's a first come first served bases and we open the doors at 8:30am and pass numbers out then. Services start at 9am.
