I have an older dog my daughter left to move to a different state...my wife is allergic to it...he is a good dog but I dont know what to do with him...any help would be grateful.

I would try animal groups on fb, if u dont want to take it to the shelter

It's a shelter for animals not a 5 star hotel. The employees are doing the best they can to accommodate both humans & animals. If there's time to judge, make available time to donate helping those that hold a smile & positive attitude helping those who are impatient.

Don't take him to shelter...... there horrible my dog was missing teeth and sick after being quarantined 10 days she lost weight it was horrible 😢
