Very pleasant campground, sandy, with a creek and views of Mt Whitney. It's first come first served, but not very busy. Most people go right by it, gripped by Whitney fever.
It's first come, first served. We like to get our campsites during the week to find good spots. For a BLM campground it's very nice, so I'm sure spots go fast.
