Is it a food idea to go on a rainy day?

True about the grounds, but it is less crowded on rainy days and you'll most likely get the tour and time you want. Pouring rain, I'd skip. Drizzly day, go.

I wouldn't. While you could still get the tour inside the castle, it'd be harder to walk around all the beautiful grounds and gardens around the place. Plus depending on how rainy and cloudy it is, you might not get a view of the ocean from high up either, which is gorgeous.

Better not , if you would also get around outside of the castle for some nice pics
