Hearst winery has one of the best ocean views of any winery. You must purchase a taking or bottle of wine to sit in the exterior or interior. Great outdoor pet friendly patio. One of my all time favorite wineries. The staff is wonderful. Our server Taylor is great and is a doll.

We showed up with no reservations and low hopes. From the reception on everybody was so incredibly friendly. We had a perfect experience. Special kudos for Ranay. She provides the very best friendly customer service anyone can get... and she knows wine... :-)

They have great view (Be careful it gets really windy on most sunny afternoons)! Wine is good, the food truck food is tasty too! Highly recommend it if it's your first time in the area!

It was a delicious great time at Hearst Ranch Winery. ❤️✨🍷☀️ The tasting room has moved across the way from Sebastian's General Store as it (and the kitchen, so no Hearst Ranch Burgers right now 😭✨) is being renovated. The new/interim tasting room is jaw-drop amazing, though. Currently outside as picnic tables with breath-taking views of San Simeon beach. The winery offered 2 different flight tastings on the day I was there - the Legacy $25 (waived with a $60 purchase) and the Proprieter's Reserve $45 (waived with a $90 purchase). I went with the PR because I was going to purchase bottles and spent enough to waive the fee. IMHO, the Legacy flight tasting is more palatable to me... and it costs less. It wasn't on the menu, but ask to check out the GSM (grenache, syrah, mouvedre). So delicious! Reservations are required, and they have food trucks on property Thursday through Sunday. Monday - Wednesday you can bring your own picnic 💛✨☀️🥂🌻🌼 or purchase packaged charcuterie offerings in the store. The staff was friendly and warmly hospitable. I was grateful for the spaciousness, fresh air, the ocean, delicious wine & nibbles. I wasn't even bothered by the occasional fly... I just kept the food covered up. The property transports me to another time. This was truly a delightful tasting experience. ✨💛☀️🍷🍷
