My son just graduated from Great Lakes Naval Academy
He is shipping out from Chicago Ohare airport and my husband and I would like to walk him down to the gate to say goodbye. Can we get passes to do this?

Most certainly but you'd not be able to go beyond the gates after he checks in... Except in a situation where airports security gives you a permit towards boarding area.
