How do I find my gate? I've never traveled alone

There are maps in multiple areas. Usually near where you would go through security. Also all gates have letter and number signs and they go in alphabetical and numerical order. If all else fails, there are airport employees and gate attemdants who you can ask and they can point you in the right direction.
